Value for money

Delivering value for money means being economical, efficient and effective. It is also about maximising the social and environmental benefits from our activities and assets.

This report provides our self-assessment against the Regulator for Social Housing’s national standard for Value for Money (VfM). It is an assessment of how we’ve provided VfM and our plans to improve in the future.

We summarise the monetary gains and additional value achieved over the last financial year.

We review our costs against our performance, how we allocate our income and how we compare to similar organisations.

Our performance management framework gives more details on how our costs and performances of key services rate across responsive repairs, major works and maintenance, supported housing, tenancy management, voids, neighbourhood safety and rent arrears.

We also detail our value for money approach, outcomes and next steps for asset management, development, social value, voids, repairs and maintenance, and other VfM work we’re undertaking in 2018 – 2019.
